Default Description:

Enables you to send and receive faxes, utilizing fax resources available on this computer or on the network.

Additional Information:

Not installed by default on Vista Home Basic or Vista Home Premium, but if needed, you may install it later under Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Select "Turn Windows features on or off (left side) > Check "Windows Fax and Scan".
