Virtual Disk

Default Description:

Provides management services for disks, volumes, file systems, and, hardward array objects such as subsystems, luns, controllers, etc.

Additional Information:

If this service is disabled, a dialog box will pop up with "Virtual Disk Service is Disabled" when attempting to access the Storage > Disk Management section under the "Computer Management" area in the Administrator Tools.
