Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol Service

Default Description:

Provides support for the Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol (SSTP) to connect to remote computers using VPN. If this service is disabled, users will not be able to use SSTP to access remote servers.

Additional Information:

New to Vista in Service Pack 1, this service can be disabled if you do not use any type of VPN , ICS and your ISP does not require it to log in to their service, or left on the default for safe configurations.
