System Event Notification

Default Description:

Tracks system events such as Windows logon, network, and power events. Notifies COM+ Event System subscribers of these events.

Additional Information:

You will receive, in the Event Log, an entry complaining about not having this service running if disabled. I have yet to find a side effect, though. For a "safe" configuration, leave this service on automatic.
