Default Description:

Provides a TCP/IP-based printing service that uses the Line Printer protocol.

Additional Information:

This service does not install by default, but if needed, you may install it later off the Windows XP CD by heading to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components > Select "Other Network File and Print Services" > Details button > Check "Print Services for Unix". If you do not need this function, leave it uninstalled.
