Default Description:

Enables you to send and receive faxes, utilizing fax resources available on this computer or on the network.

Additional Information:

Not installed by default, but if needed, you may install it later off the Windows XP CD under Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components > Check "Fax Services".
