IIS Admin

Default Description:

Allows administration of Web and FTP services through the Internet Information Services snap-in.

Additional Information:

This feature is not available on Windows XP Home or installed by default, but if needed, you may install it later off the Windows XP CD by heading to under Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components > Select Internet Information Services (IIS) > Details button > Check Internet Information Services Snap-In. This service usually operates in conjunction with a local web site or FTP server. Leave it uninstalled, mainly because IIS has been "popular" for crackers to break.
