IIS Admin

Default Description:

Allows administration of Web and FTP services through the Internet Information Services snap-in.

Additional Information:

This feature is not installed by default, but if needed, you may install it later off the Windows XP CD by heading to under Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components > Select Internet Information Services (IIS) > Details button > Check Internet Information Services Snap-In. This service usually operates in conjunction with a local web site or FTP server. Leave it uninstalled, mainly because IIS has been "popular" for crackers to break.
