Introduction Many people have asked for a “one-click” type of solution to Windows XP SP3 Services. This page is my answer. Even though it takes more than just “one-click,” it will make things faster for you and assist in configuring your system for optimal performance. Warning: Before you do anything, read EVERYTHING! I am about up and running again. Vista installation issues coupled with reinstalling everything over and over has delayed my progress, but I should be good to go in the next couple of days. I appreciate everyone’s patience as I work through my own issues. 🙂
Many things have happened in the last few days, namely my wife’s computer crapping out and my efforts have been spent getting her system and mine back up and running. In any case, things will hopefully be back to normal in the next few days. I have lots of updates coming with new guides and extended information planned throughout the domain… it just all takes time. 🙂 Hang in there! Updates will be here ASAP.
Currently, XP Service Pack 3 services information (Default) is accurate as well as the Safe, Tweaked and Bare-bones configurations. Each individual service link is also updated and will contain additional useful material in a short time. Registry patches and custom services registry tools will be coming soon.
XP SP3 information is in progress while the archived Service Pack 2 information is now online. I currently have verified XP Home SP3 with the other versions coming (hopefully) soon.
I will be updating all of my service configurations for XP SP3 upon its public release. Full updates may take several weeks and I will be uploading them in stages, but rest assured, they will be completed. I thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Looks like the connections are back online early. Sweet. 🙂
Both internet connections went down at around 5:11 AM today. I contacted AT&T and they told me a network outage is affecting my local area. As such, the domain is and will be down until approximately 10:45 AM today. If you are reading this… connectivity is restored. 🙂
Windows Vista Services SP1 “A – Z” has been finished (at least this round). Dependencies still need a run through to verify all information. First thing is first. 🙂
