This service is new for Windows 8.

Provides a mechanism to exchange data between the virtual machine and the operating system running on the physical computer.

Additional Information

Unless you are using virtual machines on your system, this service can be disabled.

Service Name (registry): vmickvpexchange

Display Name: Hyper-V Data Exchange Service

Default Path and Command Line Options
