Default Description
Provides management services for disks, volumes, file systems, and storage arrays.
Additional Information
If this service is disabled, a dialog box will pop up with “Virtual Disk Service is Disabled” when attempting to access the Storage > Disk Management section under the “Computer Management” area in the Administrator Tools. If left in Manual, the service will start when needed and stop shortly after.
