Default Description
The Windows Process Activation Service (WAS) provides process activation, resource management and health management services for message-activated applications.
Additional Information
This service is not installed by default and should not be installed on a “home” system. You can add or remove this service by heading to:
- Head to Start
- Select Control Panel
- Select Programs
- Select Programs and Features
- Select Turn Windows Features on or off
